About Us
The Northern Learning & Support Centre opened October of 2012 in The Pas. The NLSC is supported through a partnership with the Manitoba Department of Education and Early Childhood Learning and Kelsey School Division. The NLSC has a staff of one person, the Resource Facilitator.
We provide a variety of resources, equipment and professional development opportunities for parents, caregivers, professional staff and community support organizations. The NLSC wants to ensure the most current equipment and supports are available to families, educators and community organizations. We are continually searching for the most up to date information to share with our communities in Northern Manitoba.
Booking the NLSC
Group Training/Events
The NLSC is equipped with:
· Moveable conference tables and chairs for a variety of meeting configurations.
· Comfortable seating for up to 30 people
· Large TV for viewing webinars or video-conference meetings
Booking
Booking the NLSC is simple:
·email the Resource Facilitator
· Answer a few questions
· Receive a confirmation and calendar reminder
Our regular daytime hours are from 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM from Monday to Friday. Use of the facilities can be arranged outside of these hours if needed. If you would like more information or have any questions, please contact the NLSC Facilitator.

The NLSC is equipped with:
A smaller, less formal seating area. The perfect place to have meaningful conversations. You may wish to relax and catch up on your correspondence prior to heading home or to catch your flight.
Sharing Circle
Sharing Circle at the Northern Learning & Support Centre
The Sharing Circle is a group of parents supporting each other as we navigate raising our children. Whether your child has a learning difference, behavioural challenges, ASD, ADHD, anxiety, or you need support of any kind, please join us. We share our stories, support and learn from each other. The NLSC Sharing Circle meets monthly. Search for Northern Learning & Support Centre on Facebook to see when our next Circle meets.
